Privacy Policy – Edition One

At Edition One, we are committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of our website visitors. This policy sets out how we will collect and treat your personal information.

What information do we collect?

We collect your information when you decide to interact with us.

  • If you have a web account with us: we collect your name, billing/delivery address, order history, email and telephone number, items added to your basket and wish list choices.
  • If you subscribe to our mailing list: we collect your e-mail address.

When do we collect your personal data?

  • When you visit our website and use your account to buy products, as well as placing an order by phone or in store.

All our website financial transactions are handled by our payment service provider Shopify through a Secure Payment Gateway with SSL encryption.

  • Develop, test and improve the systems, services and products we provide to you (legitimate business interests).

  • Send you survey and feedback requests to help improve our services. These messages will not include any promotional content and do not require prior consent when sent by email or text message. We have a legitimate interest to do so as this helps make our service more relevant to you.

However, whilst we take all necessary steps to exclude viruses from this website, we cannot guarantee that such attempts will be successful and therefore we cannot accept liability for such viruses.

We will store all personal information you provide on our secure password and firewall-protected servers. Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure and unfortunately we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the Internet. Please ensure that your password and user details are kept confidential. Edition One will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to the website) and therefore will not take any responsibility for any misuse.
